10 Years in Business: A Decade of Growth, Grit, and Gratitude

Ten years. That number hits different when you’ve lived every late night, every risk, every win, and every “what the hell am I doing?” moment that came with it.

When I started this business, I didn’t have a perfect roadmap. What I did have was a camera, a creative itch I couldn’t ignore, and a belief that if I showed up consistently and treated people right, things would eventually click. Spoiler alert: they didn’t click overnight. Not even close.

The Early Days: Hustle Mode Activated

In the beginning, everything was DIY.I was the shooter, editor, marketer, salesperson, accountant, and tech support—sometimes all in the same day. I said yes to opportunities that scared me, undercharged while I learned my value, and worked jobs simply because they allowed me to grow.

There were no shortcuts—just reps.Projects stacked on projects. Long nights exporting videos. Early mornings answering emails. Learning through mistakes instead of manuals.

And honestly? I wouldn’t trade that phase for anything.

The Middle Years: Pressure Builds, So Does Skill

Somewhere along the way, the work got better—and so did the expectations. Clients trusted me with their brands, their stories, their businesses. That responsibility sharpened everything: creativity, communication, professionalism.

This is when you learn the real lessons:

  • Not every client is your client

  • Systems matter as much as talent

  • Consistency beats motivation

  • Your reputation will open more doors than any ad ever will

This is also when you realize that growth isn’t linear. Some years feel unstoppable. Others feel like survival. Both count.

The People Make It Worth It

Ten years in business isn’t a solo achievement. It’s built on clients who took a chance, partners who collaborated, friends who referred work, and family who supported the grind when it didn’t make sense from the outside.

If you’ve trusted me with your business, your event, your brand, or your vision—thank you. Truly. You’re the reason this thing is still standing a decade later.

Still Hungry. Still Building.

Here’s the thing people don’t tell you:Ten years doesn’t mean you’re done—it means you’re dangerous.

You’ve got experience, perspective, and scars that turn into instincts. You move smarter. You value your time. You know what matters and what doesn’t.

I’m proud of the past ten years—but I’m even more excited about what’s next. New ideas. Bigger projects. Better storytelling. More impact.

Final Thoughts

If you’re thinking about starting a business—or you’re in year one wondering if it’s worth it—let this be your sign:Keep going.

The days feel long. The years move fast. And one day, you’ll look back and realize you built something real.

Here’s to 10 years in business.Grateful. Focused. Still grinding. 🚀
